The Foundation: Our Restorative Bases

Beef Tallow

The heart of our apothecary. Tallow is highly compatible with our skin cell membranes due to its similar constitution of saturated fats (the word “sebum” actually means “tallow” in Latin).

Deep Nourishment: Readily absorbed, it provides deep nutrients for the skin to heal itself without a greasy residue.
Vitamin & Nutrient Rich: Contains Vitamins A, D, E, and K, plus conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
Versatile Healing: Soothes irritated skin, eczema, psoriasis, nappy rash, chapped lips, callouses, rashes, and sunburn. It also makes a fantastic aftershave soothing balm.

Stearic Acid (Naturally comprising 30% of our Tallow)

A powerful fatty acid that acts as a protective shield.

Moisture Lock: Creates a gentle barrier that locks in moisture and prevents moisture loss.
Cleansing & Calming: Removes dirt and excessive oils while soothing redness, acne, eczema, and rosacea. Packed with antimicrobial properties.

Transitioning to Natural Deodorant

Embracing Your Body’s Natural Function After using conventional anti-perspirants and moving over to a natural, non-toxic deodorant, your body may go through a brief detox phase. The chemicals in commercial anti-perspirants have historically blocked your body’s natural function of releasing toxins. It is good, healthy, and natural to sweat!

While our natural deodorants will not stop you from sweating, they are meticulously formulated to neutralize odor. Most importantly, you will no longer be applying any toxic chemicals to this highly sensitive area of your body.

The Armpit Detox Mask If you experience detox issues (such as temporary increased odor or tenderness), you can ease the process by applying a “detox-mask” to your underarms. Simply make a paste using:

Carefully chosen earth-minerals and waxes that keep you fresh without blocking your pores.

Zinc Oxide & Zinc Ricinoleate: Powerful anti-odor components that absorb and neutralize odor-causing molecules without blocking sweat glands or disrupting the skin’s natural microbiome.
Magnesium Chloride: Counteracts odor-causing bacteria on the surface of the skin while promoting cellular repair, enhancing hydration, and delaying wrinkles.
Arrow Root Powder & Kaolin Clay: Highly effective, non-pore-clogging natural absorbents. They purify excess perspiration, leaving your armpits feeling dry, comfortable, and fresh. Kaolin clay also provides a beautifully smooth texture to our formulas.
Diatomaceous Earth: Acts as a gentle exfoliating odor-blocker and eliminator.
Beeswax & Candelilla Wax: These natural waxes help harden the deodorant while acting as a skin protectant, creating a barrier that locks in moisture for a smooth glide.
Cetyl Alcohol: Provides a pleasant, hydrating skin-feel and smooth glide, bringing soothing and emollient properties to the formula.

The Hive (Honey & Propolis): God’s natural antiseptics. Packed with antibacterial and antioxidant properties, they speed up wound healing, prevent infections, lock in moisture, and act as a gentle exfoliator. Propolis specifically strengthens the skin barrier against UV radiation and irritants.
Castor Oil: Rich in fatty acids that boost wound and pressure ulcer healing. Antimicrobial and deeply moisturizing, it even boosts blood circulation to hair follicles (perfect for lashes, brows, and scalps).
